Servicing of breathing air compressors is substantially complex and should only be carried out by authorised & trained personnel. High pressure air and poor maintenance can potentially be fatal.

Learn about the operation of the Pressure Maintaining Valve and how important it is in keeping moisture out of the divers air.
How to calculate if the compressor is pumping at the correct rate.
Correct starting & shut down procedures.
There are no pre-requisites to attend this course.

Advanced Compressor Servicing - 5 days.

This course is designed to extend the capabilities of compressor operators who have already completed the Compressed Air Systems Management Course, and for Specialist Dive Industry personnel with responsibilities for the advanced strip down, rebuild & repair of high pressure divers breathing air compressors.

The course covers not only general maintenance, operation, standards and relevant legislation across all major manufacturers products, but also covers the following  sections.

  • Day 1 - academic development work - classroom
  • Day 2 - practical - running tests on varius makes of compressors.
  • Days3,4 &5 - Practical strip down and rebuild on the compressor of your choice. (Bauer K14, Capitano, Mariner, Junior or Coltrisub MCH16, MCH6)
